Position: Compliance Manager – Interim Assignment
Location: Sacramento, CA 95826 (Hybrid)
Hours: Full Time, Exempt (Interim/ Temporary Assignment)
Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience

Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with LIHTC, HUD, USDA‑RD, HOME, BOND, and other affordable housing programs.
- Supervise compliance staff and support lease‑up activities.
- Conduct site visits, file audits, and manage regulatory inspections.
- Oversee HUD processes including EIV administration and special claims.
- Maintain compliance policies, procedures, and the Compliance Manual.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reports.
- Build strong relationships with regulatory agencies and provide guidance to site and corporate teams.
- Deliver compliance training and support onboarding.
- Serve as Yardi Administrator for Affordable Housing modules and compliance data.
- Act as Section 504 Coordinator and manage reasonable accommodation requests.
- Stay current on regulatory updates and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Affordable Housing Regulatory Compliance (HUD/LIHTC, USDA‑RD, HOME, HCD, SHRA, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing laws and affordable housing program requirements.
- Yardi Affordable Housing experience required.
- Skilled in leading teams, developing policies, and delivering training.
- Highly organized, deadline‑driven, and able to work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Industry certifications such as HCCP, SHCM, COS preferred.
